Biography
I have a strong educational background in computer science and engineering. I obtained my Bachelor degree in Computer Science from Abdul Wali Khan University in Pakistan and my Master degree with distinction from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Chonbuk National University in South Korea. I have completed my PhD under the supervision of Prof. Sang Hyun Park in the Department of Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering at DGIST. Currently I am working as Postdoctoral Fellow at CCG Lab in the Division of Intilligent Robotics with Prof.Hyunki Lee.
Research Statement
Most deep learning-based methods require a considerable amount of labeled data, which is difficult to come by in the computer vision and medical field. I am interested in developing a unsupervised domain adaptation methods to learn from synthetic data to mitigate the labeling efforts.
